The DiP projects DiP-SMART-Agroforestry and FaiReSyst invite you to the next Agroforestry Day in Leißling and Plotha. In addition to a visit to an existing agroforestry system, this time the focus will be on the framework conditions and optimal planning for the facility, the ecological effects on site and the economic potential.

In cooperation with the projects “AFaktive” of Trier University of Applied Sciences and “MODEMA” of the German Association for Agroforestry (DeFAf) as well as the German Association for Landscape Management, the programme is this time particularly aimed at farms and takes a look at legal frameworks, funding pots and planning tools, among other things. The focus is also on the effects on the water balance, biodiversity and soil erosion and the potential for added value in agroforestry. There will be an insight into the implementation at the Plotha demonstration site, whose visit is integrated into the programme.
