Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, job advertisement for research assistant with the opportunity for scientific work and further academic qualification, in particular for doctoral studies

At the Department of Agriculture, Ecotrophology and Landscape Development at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, Bernburg (Saale) site, the part-time position (50%) of a research assistant (m/f/d), No. 453 in the field of plant production, which is limited until 31.12.2028, is to be filled from 01.01.2026.

The recruitment is part of the project “Digitalization-driven development of Saxony-Anhalt into an innovation center for pea breeding, cultivation and utilization (Dip-DiPisum)”, which is part of the BMFTR-funded network Model Region of the Bioeconomy for the Digitization of the Plant Value Chain in the Central German Mining Area in Saxony-Anhalt (DiP).
Within the framework of the assigned tasks, the opportunity for scientific work and further scientific qualification, in particular for a doctorate, is offered.
In the “DiPisum” project, the potential of the pea is to be developed as a model for Saxony-Anhalt by means of innovations in breeding, cultivation technologies, processing and marketing. A broad consortium of universities, non-university research institutions, plant breeders and representatives of the food industry is working together,
which covers the entire pea value chain. Their task is to further develop cultivation methods for peas using modern technologies in order to enable an economically attractive expansion of the cultivation scope of this crop in the region.
