Protein Plant Workshop 2026: Grain Legumes in Practice

Grain legumes in cultivation and marketing: The 14th Central German Protein Plant Workshop will take place on 26 June 2026 at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Bernburg.

14th Central German Protein Plant Workshop

Grain legumes are experiencing a renaissance – as a regional source of protein, soil conditioner and raw material for innovative foods. The 14th Central German Protein Plant Workshop at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences sheds light on the cultivation, processing and marketing of peas, lupins, lentils and co. from science and practice.

The programme includes current breeding research on frost tolerance and genetic resources, field reports from agriculture and contributions to further processing – from pea protein in meat substitutes to rapeseed protein for the food industry.

As a partner in the DiP network, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences is significantly involved in the DiP-DiPisum joint project, which opens up new paths in pea breeding and processing for the region. Look forward to a strong program!
