News from Pharmacy on the Weinberg Campus & Ways to Implement the 4th Purification Stage

In the first thematic block, partners of the Weinberg Campus and the DIP consortium will present current research and development projects in the field of pharmacy. Participants gain an insight into new technologies, research results and innovation potential that are emerging in Halle as a science location.

The second focus is dedicated to the so-called 4th purification stage in sewage treatment plants. In view of increasing requirements for water protection, processes for the removal of trace substances, pharmaceutical residues and other micropollutants are becoming increasingly important. Representatives of the Competence Centre for Water Management will present current projects and show how ecological requirements can be combined with economically viable solutions.

In addition to the specialist lectures, the event offers sufficient opportunity for personal exchange and networking. At the same time, innovative start-ups will present themselves in a round of introductions and discussions. In the afternoon, the general meeting of the Life Science Cluster Saxony-Anhalt will take place.
